About Moneda: Moneda Asset Management is a 25 year old, independent USD +9 billion with regional focus in LATAM, dedicated asset manager. We implement a long term, fundamental research investment philosophy, with a dedicated investment team of 38 professionals. We have presence in three countries: headquarters in Chile, and offices both in Argentina and NY. Our clients include pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, life insurance companies, family offices, high net worth individuals (“HNWI”) and other institutional investors. We invest in companies across their capital structure, searching for highly attractive investment ideas across the region with a country agnostic approach (equity and credit). This position will be based in our office in Santiago, Chile (work model: in person). Main Responsaiblities: • Provide legal support to the entities of the Moneda Group in Chile and abroad, with the purpose of closing deals for their funds or entities of the group and their funds under management; • Review the operating contracts of the entities of the group, with the supervision of the attorney; • Act as counsel for the Prosecutor's Office and representing the entities of the Moneda group, coordinating the responses of the Prosecutor's Office to internal consultations made by the operations, accounting and/or investment management areas, being directly responsible for the coordination of the Prosecutor's Office with these areas; • Preparation of drafts, reduction to public deed, and registration of the powers of attorney of the Moneda group. Equal responsibility for the powers of attorney of foreign vehicles. Legal support in the negotiation of fund investments. Requirements: • This job requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in similar business as Moneda's models, or at least financial segments focused on banking activities. • Advanced knowledge in Excel, financial products, valuation of financial assets and cash flow modeling; • Degree: Law; • English – advanced.
