Compliance Officer

The Compliance Officer will be in charge of ensuring compliance of the Group’s activities in Chile, under the authority of Elis Chile’s [Chief Executive Officer]. In this regard, with the support and under the direction of the French headquarters Compliance department, the mission of the Compliance Officer will mainly consist of: Implementation of the Group’s anticorruption compliance program (Loi Sapin II), and Elaboration and implementation of the local compliance program (Chilean Modelo de Prevención de Delitos). Hence, the main duties consist of: Deployment and communication of the Code of Ethics and of any related documentation Deployment and day-to-day administration of the third-party evaluation policy and assessment process (risk analysis, management of the third-party database, negotiation of ethics clauses and contract management, etc.) Deployment and day-to-day management of online and in person trainings and awareness-raising measures on compliance (creation of training mediums, deployment of the training plan, KPIs, etc.) Deployment and day-to-day management of the whistleblowing system (communication, management of alerts, investigation, reporting, etc.) Deployment of compliance internal controls, as well as definition and implementation of corrective action plans. Monitoring of compliance best practices and regulatory developments in Chile. Regular reporting to local top management as well as to the corporate Compliance department. Updating of documentation (risks mapping, register of conflict of interests, gifts and hospitality declarations, etc.) Benefit: Flexibility options available. Hybrid work schedule. Perfil deseado A master’s degree in law, compliance, risk management, audit or related fields A 4-5 years’ experience in the field of compliance, either in a law firm or in-house, preferably in the industrial sector (but not necessarily) An excellent command in both Spanish and English is imperative
