Controller

We're looking for a Controller who will have the responsibility of the administration and finance function. Cumplo expects to grow 10x in the next 3 years to reach USD$1 billion in loans under management by December of 2025 which implies a big effort in structuring the vehicles and debt capacities to assure that volume is reached. The ideal candidate should have experience in structuring debt to be deployed in different latam markets and managing the nuances of cash flow in a lending organization. Responsibilities • Lead efforts of debt raising, deal closing, partnerships, deal origination, due diligence, negotiations • Own the accounting & financials, being responsible of leading the audit processes • Lead tax planning and reporting processes within all subsidiaries • Work with external counsel and internal stakeholders to ensure legal and compliance requirements are met • Build relationships with the wider leadership team and implement the necessary KPIs and metrics to support decision making and capital raising efforts • Bring financial insights, business acumen to strategic planning efforts of Cumplo Required Skills and Experience • Broad capital markets expertise • Experience with the investor community • Communicate our vision to various stakeholders • Allocating capital and optimizing capital structure • Position the company for public markets • Ensure compliance with unique regulatory requirements of a lending company • Mastery of finance and accounting fundamentals Benefits • 2 administrative days • 3 extra days for vacations • Day off for birthday • Free day for moving. • Bonus for financing computer equipment (optional).
